Hiztorical Vision Productions

My name is Theo M. Moore II, and I am the founder Hiztorical Vision Productions, an organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich African American history in Alabama through the art of filmmaking.
I am thrilled to introduce you to an exciting opportunity—the Bama Black History 365 Internship Program. This unique program offers aspiring students an immersive and hands-on experience in preserving and showcasing inspiring African American history, particularly in Alabama. Students will have the chance to engage in all aspects of filmmaking, contributing to a more profound understanding and appreciation of this vital cultural heritage.
The internship program encompasses a range of skills, including research, media, videography, journalism, graphic design, and more. Additionally, it emphasizes community engagement and empowerment, aligning well with the ethos of HBCUs. We kindly request your assistance in sharing this invaluable opportunity with your esteemed students. Your support in spreading the word about this program among your network would be instrumental in ensuring that passionate and deserving students, especially from HBCUs, can avail of this enriching experience.
This grant, awarded by the Alabama State Council on the Arts, enables Hiztorical Vision Productions to reach new audiences, foster community development, provide the highest quality programming, and demonstrate the importance of arts as a key component for quality life in Alabama. The three-month internship program will be offered each year during the Spring semester.
