From South (I-85 from Montgomery)
Take I-85 north.
Exit on College Street, EXIT 51.
Turn LEFT at the light onto College Street.
Stay on College St. for about 3.2 miles.
Turn LEFT onto Samford Avenue.
Continue forward through the 4-way stop at Mell Street.
Goodwin Hall will be on your right, the third building after Mell Street.
From Northeast (I-85 from Atlanta)
Take I-85 south.
Exit on Bent Creek Road, EXIT 57.
Turn RIGHT at the end of the ramp.
Continue forward through the first traffic light.
At the second traffic light, take a LEFT on Glenn Ave.
Continue forward on Glenn Ave. for about 4 miles.
Turn LEFT onto College Street.
Stay on College Street for about .7 miles.
Turn RIGHT onto Samford Avenue.
Continue forward through the 4-way stop at Mell Street.
Goodwin Hall will be on your right, the third building after Mell Street.
From Northwest (US 280 from Birmingham)
Take US 280 east.
Turn RIGHT onto AL 147 (North College Street).
Continue forward on College Street for about 5.5 miles.
Turn RIGHT onto Samford Avenue.
Continue forward through the 4-way stop at Mell Street.
Goodwin Hall will be on your right, the third building after Mell Street.
From East (US 280 from Columbus)
Take US 280 west to Opelika.
Turn LEFT onto I-85 south.
Exit on Bent Creek Road, EXIT 57.
Turn RIGHT at the end of the ramp.
Continue forward through the first traffic light.
At the second traffic light, take a LEFT on Glenn Ave.
Continue forward on Glenn Ave. for about 4 miles.
Turn LEFT onto College Street.
Stay on College Street for about .7 miles.
Turn RIGHT onto Samford Avenue.

Parking
There is no visitor parking in the immediate area of the Goodwin Music Building. Parking rules are enforced from 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. It is not advised to park in a restricted lot during these hours. Parking rules are not enforced on the weekends, and the nearest lot is adjacent to the Telfair Peet Theatre (corner of Samford and Duncan), next to the Goodwin Music Building.
If you have scheduled a campus tour with the Office of Admissions and Recruitment on Monday through Friday, you may park at the Jule Collins Smith Museum on South College Street and take the Charcoal Line shuttle service to campus. The museum is a tan building with a pond directly in front of it, located south of the main campus (from Goodwin Hall and Samford Avenue, turn right onto College Street). At the museum, turn left onto Woodfield Drive (coming from campus). The parking lot is immediately on your right. Park in the second parking area as you enter the parking lot. Walk to the visitor center, located at the main entrance of the museum. Once inside, you will be given information on the arrival of the next shuttle. The shuttle runs in 30-minute intervals from 7:00am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and will take you to the Quad Center. From there, you will begin your campus tour or you can walk to the Goodwin Music Building.
