Meet Danielle Curtis, Lighting and Scenic Designer for 'Alabama Love Stories'

Danielle Curtis is the Director of Theatre Arts at Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, North Carolina and will be joining the artistic team for Alabama Love Stories as the Scenic and Lighting Designer.
Danielle graduated from Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio with a double major in Speech Communications and Theatre. She then obtained a Master of Fine Arts in Production Design from Michigan State University. Danielle spent several years working for the Ohio Light Opera and in New York City as a freelance Scenic Artist, Electrician, and Lighting Designer. Some shows that Danielle has designed for include Into the Woods, Eurydice, and Silent Sky, all of which used natural elements within the design to create texture and depth onstage; something she hopes to bring to Alabama Love Stories. In addition to her work as director, Danielle also teaches courses in career management, principles of design, stage management, and traditional design courses.
You’ll be able to see Danielle’s work for Alabama Love Stories from April 11-20. Reserve your tickets now at theatretickets.auburn.edu or call the Box Office at 334-844-4154.
