Degree Options

MPA students can begin in the fall, spring, or summer semester and typically complete four semesters of full-time academic study plus an internship towards the degree. The recommended course load for a full-time MPA student is nine credit hours per semester. Students can pursue a generalist MPA degree, a minor in Economic Development, or concurrently pursue a graduate certificate in Election Administration or NonProfit Organizations and Community Governance.

In addition, students may choose to complete graduate courses concurrently with undergraduate courses in an accelerated Bachelors to Masters program. A dual degree option is also available with the Master of Community Planning program. For more information, please select one of the links below.
