2019 Saxophone Quartet Auditions

Auditions for the saxophone will take place August 22nd from 6:00pm to 7:30 pm. There will be a meeting of all saxophone ensemble members following the auditions at 7:30 pm. All freshmen saxophonists and all non-majors will audition. Students are required to play a full range chromatic scale and the excerpt below. This audition is to determine which voice a student will play; saxophone majors typically will play at least 3 different voices while majors at the university.
