The Indian Music Ensemble (elective credit for music majors) comprises instrumentalists and vocalists performing traditional classical and semi-classical compositions that represent both the Hindustani and Carnatic traditions. The ensemble uses authentic instruments such as harmonium, tabla, tanpuraand sitar in its performances. The ensemble rehearses 2 hours weekly in the Fall and Spring semesters.
