Elba First United Methodist Church Embraces Change: The oldest church in Elba has seen a lot of change in its 104 years. Most recently, it experienced the retirement of the Rev. Leaving the Screens Behind Brings New Adventure: I would have never imagined that I would spend my Saturday morning on a four-hour kayaking trip. When I don’t have better things to do, I sleep in late and then stare at a TV or computer screen all day because I enjoy resting just as much as I enjoy being out and about with friends. Basketball Camp Focuses on Fun, Faith, Bridging Divides: All In Sports Outreach Inc. has a mission to bring Selma together through faith, youth, and a little bit of basketball. Main Street Designation Adds Spark to Celebration: Downtown Elba was alive with spirit as the Chamber of Commerce presented the “Let Freedom Ring” event celebrating Independence Day and Elba’s Main Street Alabama designation.
