Earn a minor or second major.
The last two years of college can be hectic. If you start your language learning classes early on, you’ll have an easier time earning a minor (17 hours) or a second major (39 hours).
Test out of classes.
Don’t start your learning from scratch. If you’ve taken French, Spanish or German, take our placement test to find the right starting place. Our generous advanced placement policy can earn you up to 8 credit hours for classes that you skip!
Increase your scholarship chances.
If you’re a first-year student who places into the second or third year, you’re more competitive for our Young Scholars Award.
