Events and Experience Internship 

Provide high-level administrative support by directly assisting/supporting the Events and Experience Manager via the following (but not limited to) capacities: conducting research, preparing reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. This role is responsible for assisting with the initiating, facilitating, and guiding well-designed, creative experiences for our guests and corporate retreats across the Rane Culinary Science Center, including The Laurel Hotel & Spa, Rooftop Bar and Pool, 1856 Teaching Restaurant, Wine Appreciation Center, Distillation Appreciation Center, Thrive Coffee Roastery, and The Hey Day Market Food Hall. 

 Tasks 

  • • Assist with planning events and experiences for commercial spaces 
  • • Build 90 day event and activation calendar 
  • • Research industry trends and experiences 
  • • Execute events 
  • • Contribute ideas for marketing team 
  • • Design collateral for events and experiences 
  • • Research vendor collaborations 
  • • Creating action plans 
  • • Activation of all commercial spaces 
  • • Writing banquet event orders 
  • • Amenity design and execution 
  • • Sourcing supplies and products for events and experiences 
  • • Administrative scheduling of media visits 
  • • Creative input and brainstorming sessions 
  • • Organization of event supplies and marketing collateral 
  • • Weekly meetings with marketing and PR teams 
  • • Assist with on-site photo and video shoots
