Talk on "Swifts and Chimneys"

The public is invited to a "Swifts and Chimneys," a talk by Wendy DesChene on Tuesday, October 25 at 4 p.m. at Pebble Hill.  

DesChene will discuss her research on the decline of chimney swift habitats and public sculpture solutions. She is currently working with Allen Harvey, professor of Biology at Georgia Southern University, and Jeff Schmuki, professor of Art at Georgia Southern University on chimney swift towers.

Wendy DesChene is an associate professor in the Department of Art & Art History.

The event is free, open to the public, and will be followed by refreshments. The Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts & Humanities at Pebble Hill is located at 101 S. Debardeleben Street, Auburn.
