Celebrate the Arts on the Hill

The Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts & Humanities in the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University, Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center, and the Auburn Arts Association invite you to “Celebrate the Arts on the Hill” on Sunday, October 2 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Pebble Hill.

We will kick-off our celebration of Arts & Humanities Month at 3 p.m. with art activities for children and tours of the historic 1847 Scott-Yarbrough house. A special performance celebrating the creative spirit by the Auburn University/Community Orchestra will begin at 4 p.m.

The event is free, open to the public, and family-friendly. Bring a chair or blanket. Parking onsite is limited; street parking is available.

Throughout October, the College of Liberal Arts will host performances, lectures, exhibitions, and other special events that offer opportunities to learn about, experience, and participate in the arts and humanities. Visit www.clacelebrates.org for a calendar of events.
