Book Talk with Mary Belk

The public is invited to a book talk by Mary Belk, author of Second Cup: Collected Columns on Thursday, May 8 at 4:00 p.m. at Pebble  Hill (101 S. Debardeleben St., Auburn).

Second Cup is a collection of columns written by Belk for the Auburn Bulletin and Opelika-Auburn News. An Auburn resident and former anthropology professor, Belk has been writing her weekly column for more than 21 years. Second Cup is published by Solomon & George, a non-profit press publishing work by new and established writers speaking to—and preserving—the life and culture of the South.

The event is free, open to the public, and will be followed by refreshments. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
