About Me

Keith Williams is a graduate of Auburn University and rejoined the Auburn Family as an assistant chief flight instructor in June 2019. He began his career in aviation with the Air Force where he primarily flew EC-135 and KC-135 aircraft. During his 24+-year Air Force career he served as pilot, instructor pilot, flight examiner, chief of safety, tanker fleet safety manager, Combat Crew Training School instructor, operations officer, Training Squadron Commander at the Air Mobility Training Center, Vice Commandant of Squadron Officer School and Inspector General for the Air Force unit that oversees the Civil Air Patrol. After retiring from the Air Force in 2008, Keith worked for the State of Alabama and provided flight instruction at a local airport. In 2016 he returned to aviation full-time with ExpressJet Airlines where he served as a First Officer on CRJ 200/700/900 aircraft. In February 2018, he joined Endeavor Airlines as a CRJ 200 First Officer where he flew until he began serving as assistant chief instructor pilot at the Auburn University Aviation Center.
