Kamrin Waggoner has a bachelor's degree in Social Work from Auburn University and a master's degree in Education from Alabama State University. Since graduating from Auburn in 1992, she has served as the Director of Attendance for the Tuscaloosa County School System, an educator for the Alabama Council on Child Abuse, a case worker for the Gift of Life Foundation (an agency specializing in pre-natal care and parent education), and as third grade teacher in Atlanta.
Now residing in Auburn, she serves as a volunteer for her church, for her children's schools and for various Auburn University Committees, including the College of Liberal Arts Dean's Advisory Council and the Women's Leadership Institute. Waggoner's hope is to make a tangible difference in the lives of children in her community and her home. She is currently an at-home mom who looks forward to re-entering the non-profit/education field.
