Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Quantitative Psychology


Position:  The Department of Psychology at Auburn University invites applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor beginning fall semester, August 16, 2018.


Responsibilities: Candidates will contribute to the education and training of undergraduate and graduate students, including teaching quantitative courses as well as courses in the candidate’s area of expertise. Candidates are expected to maintain a strong research program.


Requirements/Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong quantitative expertise in areas such as: big data, multi-level modeling, longitudinal models, dynamic models, brain connectivity, or any other area of quantitative psychology. The candidate’s research interests should align with quantitative psychology, and research interests that complement one or more of the graduate program areas in the Department of Psychology (Cognitive and Behavioral Sciences, Clinical Psychology, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and/or Applied Behavior Analysis) is highly desired. A strong record that includes publications and potential for external funding is required. Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in Psychology or related field. ABD candidates will be considered but must have Ph.D. by start date or offer will be withdrawn.


The candidate selected for this position must be able to meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment; excellent communication skills required.
