About Jennifer Lockhart
Jennifer Lockhart is interested in nineteenth century philosophy, especially the writings of Søren Kierkegaard. She is concerned with the role that philosophical reflection plays in living well and the forms that philosophical writing might take in order to facilitate this role. Her work on Kierkegaard deals with the pseudonymous nature of many of his productions and the way in which these constitute what Kierkegaard calls an “indirect communication.” She is also interested in Kant's practical philosophy and in philosophical issues that arise at the intersection of the following topics: erotic love, sex, marriage, and gender.
