About Nicholas Koziolek
Nic received his PhD in Philosophy from the University of Chicago in 2015. He works primarily in the theory of thought, and is especially interested in the nature of the mental acts through which we gain knowledge of the empirical world––mental acts like perceiving and inferring. His work is thus centered in the philosophy of mind, but branches out into epistemology, metaphysics, and the philosophy of language. He also takes inspiration from a number of historical figures, including Aristotle, Kant, Frege, and Wittgenstein.
