The Auburn Jazz Combo is comprised of music students and other qualified jazz performers from the greater student body. The group performs regularly on and off campus for a variety of audiences, including professional organizations, schools, and community events, as well as serving as a workshop to further develop improvisational skills. Their repertoire encompasses music from the swing, bebop, hard bop, modal and fusion periods of jazz. This is an audition-based group that meets in fall and spring semesters.
