Travel & Reimbursement

The department of History attempts to support faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate students to the degree possible in their needs to travel to conduct and present research in history. Resources are limited, but are enhanced by generous gifts from friends of the department.

All travel and reimbursements must be completed in accordance with department, college, and university policies.

  • The History Travel Policy describes some of the departmental conditions and limits on travel and reimbursement.
  • The College of Liberal Arts Travel Policy describes some of the college's conditions and limits on travel and reimbursement.
  • The university travel policies govern allowable reimbursements and necessary documentation. Faculty and students desiring reimbursement for travel should consult these guidelines IN ADVANCE of travel. Questions about department travel and reimbursement should be directed to lead administrator Alfreda Cosby in Thach 310.
