    Melissa Adams (A-Clar) earned a bachelor's degree in Marketing in 2004 from Troy University and a M.Ed in Counseling from Auburn University. She joined the Academic Advising team in the College of Liberal Arts in April of 2011. In addition to her advising responsibilities, Melissa coordinates the Peer Advising Program, teaches an Auburn Experience Course, and serves as Chair of the Advisor's and Counselor's Caucus. In 2012, Melissa was selected to receive the inaugural Outstanding Advisor Award in the New Advisor Category. Melissa is a member of the Junior League of Lee County and enjoys sewing and machine embroidery.

He leads the Successfully Orienting Students (SOS) program for transfer students, and is an active member in AU Advisors and Counselors Council (AUACC), and a member of the National Academic Advising Association.

    Andrea Young earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology and master's degree in Education from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. Andrea has been an Academic Advisor in the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University since May, 2011. She is currently working with the veteran population in the college and serves on the A&P Grievance Committee. In 2014 she received the Outstanding New Advisor Award, and also received an award of excellence from the Auburn Student Veteran's Association. Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband, two children (Catelyn & Mason), and dog (Chevy).

She has extensive experience and training in academic advising and counseling, and a passion for helping college students realize their educational goals.

    Mike Waldrop is the Director of Student Services in CLA, having served for 15 years in the AU Admissions and Recruitment Office. He holds a bachelor's degree in Communication from Freed-Hardeman University, a master's degree in Theology from Harding in Memphis, and a master's degree and Ed.D. in Administration of Higher Education from Auburn. Mike has enjoyed 22 years of service at AU. He is married to Auburn alum, René, and he has two children Michael and Natalie, both Auburn students.
