Charter Bank Provides Funds to Heritage Project

The Charter Bank Charter Foundation donated $5,000 to the Chattahoochee Heritage Project. The grant will be used to purchase equipment and provide travel support for students as they produce stories for the Chattahoochee Heritage Project. CHP is a web-based news and information service highlighting the people, places, history and culture of the Chattahoochee River Valley. Students in the Auburn University Department of Communication and Journalism in the College of Liberal Arts  (with the assistance of faculty and friends of the Department) produce multi-platform content that focuses on significant areas of interest to the Chattahoochee River region. The Chattahoochee Heritage Project can be found at: http://www.chattahoocheeheritage.org
