Dr. Runia Mowla, MSc., an expert and consultant on gender, development and agriculture in Asia, presents the lecture, "Socio Economic Phenomenon: Adolescent girls' status and position in the rural society of Bangledesh.

The Women's Studies Program, Women’s Initiatives, Women in Science and Engineering, and the Departments of Sociology and Agricultural Economics & Rural Sociology have co-sponsored Dr. Mowla’s visit to Auburn University.
